Last time I was at LAX I was saying how grateful I am that my home airport is not Newark. Newark Airport is like a microcosm of all the things I find difficult about the east coast of the USA. I would like to know whose language assigned me a new gender now that I'm in menopause. That resonates, because I have recently stopped identifying as female, and feel emboldened to do so partly because I never had kids. I don't think it's Cree, but I too, would be curious to know more about the etymology of that word.
