ok cried all the way thru this and afterward. thank you for gathering assembling integrating and articulating these thought-vectors so well..seamlessly, brilliantly. i wonder if you are communicating with people like Fred Moten -- and all the women he cites -- ... critiquing the nation state.

i went the other way - Kanata to USA - not my choice - a relational choice - and am dumbstruck by what my NAI (North American Indigenous) sister keeps trying to teach me - that Tribes and Indigenous North American people here cater to land jurisdiction invented by the US govt.... how can we do anything relevant and constructive in this context??? ♥️ 🙏🏾

Well said. I've found comfort and hope in what I have seen Native people in the so-called US do to build other politics, other economics. I have seen other efforts from urban gardening, community arts and other spaces, working hard locally, but networking energetically at larger scales. We have examples right under our noses of working in solidarity without waving a flag.
